2048 is an addictive puzzle game where you aim to reach the number 2048 by merging tiles. You slide matching numbers together to create larger numbers, but new tiles appear with every move, so you must reach the goal before the board fills up.

Game Gameplay

To play 2048, you slide tiles on a 4×4 grid using arrow keys (or swipe gestures). Each move pushes all tiles in the chosen direction, and any two tiles with the same number that collide will merge into one, doubling their value (e.g., two “2” tiles merge to become “4”). After each move, a new “2” or “4” tile randomly appears on an empty spot on the grid. The goal is to keep merging tiles until you create a tile with the number 2048, without filling up the board entirely, as a full grid with no possible moves ends the game.
